Life at end of tunnel: India moves mountain to rescue 41 trapped workers

The operation to rescue 41 workers trapped inside the Silkyara tunnel in Uttarkashi was successful. The multi-agency effort, supported by the PMO and NDRF personnel, lasted 17 days. Challenges included a minor earthquake causing debris shift, a loud cracking sound halting work, and the possibility of tunnel face collapse. The workers were found fit after a physical examination.
