Udit Narayan recently ended up kissing a female fan on the lips and is now getting a lot of backlash from the internet. This fan tried to kiss him on the cheek while taking a selfie but Narayan in turn kissed her on the lips. As this video went viral, a throwback video of Guru Randhawa has now resurfaced on the internet.
This video shows how a female fan tried to kiss Guru on the cheek while clicking a selfie with him. However, the singer got uncomfortable and pulled himself back. This reaction from Randhawa is completely opposite of Udit and hence the internet has praised him. As he stepped back the internet has showered praise on him. Many also slammed fans for not having any boundary. A person said, “Guru is respecting the girl but honestly the is not... It doesn't matter if you're a girl or a guy fan or a star, maintain some boundaries be respectful.” A user wrote, “In both the cases the girl fans reach out first to kiss ! One Moves away one got carried away ! What to say .The fans get so close and think they have a right and permission to kiss them and show affection .Female fans should restrain themselves .and respect the artist personal boundaries ! Meanwhile, Udit had justified himself and told ETimes, “Meanwhile, Udit had justified his behaviour and he told ETimes, "There is a deep pure and unbreakable bond between my fans and me. What you saw in the so-called scandalous video was a manifestation of the love between my fans and I. They love me and I love them back even more. It is not something sleazy or secret. It is there in the public domain. My heart is pure. If some people want to see something dirty in an act of pure affection, then I feel sorry for them. I also want to thank them."
