Jaish-e-Muhammed chief's close aide shot dead in Pakistan

Maulana Raheem Ullah Tariq, a close aide of Jaish-e-Muhammed chief Maulana Masood Azhar, was gunned down by unidentified men in Karachi. This is the third high-profile assassination of a terrorist focused on India this month. The killings are believed to be a result of infighting among JeM cadres and the role of local terrorists. The previous assassinations targeted key members of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Khalistan Commando Force. The Pakistani spy agency ISI is allegedly downplaying these killings.
