The UN Palestinian refugee agency (UNRWA) has reported that over 100 UN employees have been killed since the start of the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza, making it the deadliest conflict for the UN in such a short period of time. These employees include teachers, doctors, nurses, and support staff. The agency mourns the loss of its colleagues and emphasizes that these civilians, along with the rest of the population in Gaza, should not have been killed. UN staff worldwide will observe a minute of silence to honor the victims.
