Gauahar Khan, who is returning to television and work after giving birth to her baby boy Zehaan, goes on to share how she worked till the eight month of her pregnancy. In an exclusive chat with ETimes TV, Gauahar revealed an interesting incident about Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh which got her emotional. She also opened up about how blessed she feels to bag work soon after becoming a mother.
Gauahar mentioned that she was shooting non-stop, doing action web series and travelling the world hosting shows, during her pregnancy phase, she said, "I have worked till the second trimester, 7 months during my pregnancy.I was travelling till eight months of my pregnancy. I was shooting non-stop, doing action web series, travelling the world hosting shows. Hosting is my first love and I just love live events. I hosted the opening event of the football World Cup in Qatar and many other shows, and live events."
Gauahar narrated a sweet gesture by Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who met her back-to-back at live events while she was heavily pregnant, she said, "During that time Ranveer Singh met me back-to-back for three or four live events and he was just amazed. He was like Gauahar, how are you doing this in 7 months of pregnancy? He was so sweet. He actually held my stomach and said a little prayer for my baby. He told the baby how he must be like his mother when he comes out and your mother is a rock star. I got so emotional when he was doing that. Mashallah. It was so beautiful to know that people appreciate the fact that you can be strong, beautiful and glamorous even when you are pregnant."
She further expressed her gratitude towards people who are ready to break barriers and offer work to artists on the basis of talent, "It is a very hopeful and grateful phase for me. I am thankful to god that there are people in the industry who are ready to break the barriers and want to offer work to artists on the basis of their talent. I would like to congratulate the production house and the channel who have progressive thinking. Even a lot of producers and directors are doing this," she concluded.
