The Taliban has warned Pakistan to not mistreat Afghan refugees amid Pakistan's crackdown on undocumented migrants. Pakistan's decision to ask all undocumented refugees, including 1.7 million Afghans, to leave the country has strained relations with the Taliban-ruled Afghanistan. The acting deputy defense minister of Afghanistan urged Pakistan to not seize the personal property and assets of Afghans. The Taliban minister also called on the United Nations to intervene and ensure the refugees are sent back to Afghanistan with dignity.
