Bengaluru horror: Woman gang-raped at KR Puram railway station

BENGALURU: City police arrested two men for allegedly gang-raping a woman while she was walking home with her cousin from KR Puram railway station after midnight on Wednesday. One of the accused has been identified as Ashif.
According to police, the victim arrived in the city on a train from Ernakulam, Kerala and got off at KR Puram railway station around 1am on Thursday, where her cousin was waiting for her.
As they were leaving the station, two men confronted them. One of the accused restrained the cousin while the other dragged the woman to a secluded area and raped her.
Hearing the commotion, passersby intervened and managed to catch one of the accused, while the other fled. Later, police tracked down and arrested the second suspect.
