Like mother, like daughter.
Kelly Clarkson celebrated Take Your Child to Work Day early this year by featuring daughter River Rose on the April 2 broadcast of The Kelly Clarkson Show.
"My daughter is here today," the American Idol winner announced at the top of the broadcast before noting the 10-year-old was shadowing showrunner Alex Duda for the day. "Oh my God! You have a mic and everything! You're so fancy! Oh my God. I love it. You're like a little mini producer."
Kelly—who also shares 8-year-old son Remington "Remy" Alexander with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock—also noted River attended "all the meetings this morning like an adult. She's very professional."
River even dressed the part and rocked a headset and clipboard for the guest-producing gig.
And while Kelly was interviewing Whitney Cummings during the episode, the comedian couldn't help but tell a behind-the-scenes story to embarrass the "Since U Been Gone" singer.
"I was interrogating River earlier," Whitney shared. "I said, 'What is the thing that annoys your mom the most?'"
