The European Union will continue to provide financial aid to the Palestinians after an investigation found no money had been diverted to Hamas. The investigation screened over 100 projects worth €331 million and found that 88% of contracts benefiting the Palestinians have been cleared. However, the investigation is following up on allegations that two contracts worth €8 million may have been used to incite hate speech and glorify terrorism.
